I'm at the Christian coffee house/shop (Kafe 101) in Coos Bay again. It's a wonderful place to log on to the Internet and catch up with the world. Yesterday was cloudy with a soft rain. However, I explored the coast and saw Simpson Reef and Shore Acres. Although the day was cloudy and cold, it was relaxing and I got some wonderful pictures of the Oregon coast.
I've been parked at the Mill Casino (free!) but at about 8:00 p.m. go in to make my "donation." I take in $20.00 and when it's gone or late (whichever comes first) I'm done for the evening. For the last two days I've gone to the King's Buffet ($6.50) for a late lunch. The fish and chips are really good! The fish has the light, tender batter that is just delicious.
I just finished an Elizabeth Berg novel and am going to "poke around" the thrift shops today for some more of her novels. I really enjoy the time in the summer for reading. Sometimes I just hop into my "over the cab" bed, snuggle up with Cali, sip a glass of wine and read.
The Oregon coast is beautiful!
