I drove to Portland yesterday and Salem today.  The traffic was so busy in Portland that it was difficult to drive around.  Salem was much more manageable.  I saw the capitol building and drove back to an Indian casino where I'm parked in a literal "sea" of RV's. 

I went to a Goodwill thrift store where they weigh your items by the pound.  I was thrilled to find a Gund teddy bear.  However, while looking through the bins, someone actually took it from my cart!

Tomorrow I'm driving back to the coast and mapping my route for the drive back to New Mexico.  August 4th is rapidly approaching.
